Hello NORDP Colleagues,
Our institution is in the midst of a position reclassification project called the University Career Architecture Project that is developing market-based job functions and families for all non-faculty employees. One of the perks was that I was able to think through potential career progression in our research development office. Has anyone else been thinking about this? Or been successful in developing career progression in their RD offices? If so, interested in having a panel or roundtable discussion?
Thanks for considering!

I'm interested in this topic as well. University of California as a system went through a similar job title/fxn "harmonization" process over the course of several years, ending this year. I would love to discuss these difficult processes and our thoughts on how it maybe should go (or have gone). I'd love to think of discussing this with an idea to reach out to HR organizations with our collective thoughts on the matter. I'd love to participate in a panel discussion on this topic.
