Hi Anna; I am interested in this and have used Research Activities Dashboards to create visuals to track this kind of thing. Check it out- pasdc.hbg.psu.edu/Services/PSUSampleNewPrograms/tabid/1988/Default.aspxWe are also trying to use different Excel trackers for attendees at our workshops to note who's coming and from what area, then try to link that to internal and external grant submissions. Let me know if you want to talk more. Susannah Gal Associate Dean of Research and Outreach sjg5538@psu.edu

Hi Anna,
I've presented on my work in using satisfaction and perceived confidence in measuring RD impact at NORDP in the past, and I would be happy to join in on this presentation as well. I've expanded my scope to include research administration metrics, and have some new thoughts about the issues of evaluating research development in comparison.
Best,
Sarah Assistant Director of Research Administration and Development Tufts University sarah.marina@tufts.edu

If downstream/dissemination metrics are part of your interest, I'd love to collaborate. The kind of thing that vendor products Vivo and SciVal look at. But it's hard to tie those directly to RD, so they may not be the kinds of impacts you're interested in.
Kind regards, Nina nexner@vcu.edu

Hi Anna,
One of the big down stream impacts researchers and funders are really clamoring for are in the policy space. Does World Bank or IMF or Brookings cite my research in building a policy recommendation on xyz topic. This is an area of particular interest to me because we've seen tenure/promo committees get someone "over the hump" to tenure and promotion by demonstrating this kind of impact. Happy to collaborate on a presentation on this as well.
Let me know if you're interested! Sara sara@altmetric.com
